Ed & Joy's Fundraising Page

Total Raised: $200.00

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have clean water to drink?

I'm helping raise funds to provide clean, safe drinking water to people who suffer needlessly without it in the developing world, and could really use your help!

Our donations will be used to construct a specific water project. We'll get pictures, GPS coordinates, and reports from the field, as they happen. We'll see the actual results of what we've done.

In their own words...

Some of our family are not exchanging gifts for Christmas this year.  Instead we are giving to causes close to our heart.  A friend of ours son runs the Water Project ministry so we can personally endorse the leadership.  They work through local churches and pastors to ensure the wells/clean water projects are managed with integrity and to the ultimate end of glorifying God.  Water is something we take for granted, but in other parts of the world people are dying for lack of clean water.  Giving the life-giving gift of water this season seems right when we consider Christmas is about the coming of the Water of Life, whose life was poured out for us.

About Us

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that's bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water.

We tell stories. The story of water, the story of change, and the story of hope. These stories inspire people to raise the money needed to build wells and other water projects at schools, medical centers, churches and other public places in under-developed nations.

With monies raised, our partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.

We work closely with our partners around the world who identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. That's how we share the whole story with you and hopefully inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
