Ken-ya Dig It?

Total Raised: $3,631.00

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have clean water to drink?

I'm helping raise funds to provide clean, safe drinking water to people who suffer needlessly without it in the developing world, and could really use your help!

Our donations will be used to construct a specific water project. We'll get pictures, GPS coordinates, and reports from the field, as they happen. We'll see the actual results of what we've done.

In their own words...

We are called to be the church.  Using our gifts, passions, and blessings, we can make a difference. We have decided to raise money to fund an entire well to be built in Kenya and we need YOUR help. We will do various events during the month of March to raise money to meet our goal of $7,000. March will be the 1st annual Water Awareness Month which will be a youth led month full of services, fundraisers and ways to raise awareness about the water crisis. Please donate online and spread the word about the water crisis in third world countries. "...but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14 Ken-ya dig it? WE CAN!

About Us

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that's bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water.

We tell stories. The story of water, the story of change, and the story of hope. These stories inspire people to raise the money needed to build wells and other water projects at schools, medical centers, churches and other public places in under-developed nations.

With monies raised, our partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.

We work closely with our partners around the world who identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. That's how we share the whole story with you and hopefully inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
