Every donation to The Water Project is linked to a specific project, no matter how much you give. But, if you'd like to sponsor an entire project on your own, or with your school or church, we want to help!
One of the best ways to help is to rally your friends and family. And we're making that easy. Setup your own page in minutes. Celebrate a birthday, run a race.
Find a group of friends. Commit to a two-week challenge. We'll provide all the resources you need, for free. You bring the will power. Together, we'll change lives.
Our unique system let's you track your donation to specific project. Then, you can follow it, from construction to water flowing and into the future as we check up on it.
Maps, pictures, stories and details from the specific project you support connect you to the people you help.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have clean water to drink?
I'm helping raise funds to provide clean, safe drinking water to people who suffer needlessly without it in the developing world, and could really use your help!
Our donations will be used to construct a specific water project. We'll get pictures, GPS coordinates, and reports from the field, as they happen. We'll see the actual results of what we've done.
In their own words...
Thanks for joining with me in support of The Water Project.
Through The Ripple Effect event, we hope to see many, many new water projects installed across Africa. Together, we'll watch as water comes and everything changes.
I want to make a change, and I want to do it with you.
- Kat Graham
About The Water Project
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that's bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water.
We tell stories. The story of water, the story of change, and the story of hope. These stories inspire people to raise the money needed to build wells and other water projects at schools, medical centers, churches and other public places in under-developed nations.
With monies raised, our partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.
We work closely with our partners around the world who identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. That's how we share the whole story with you and hopefully inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.

Nearly 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe drinking water.
The Problem:
For too many...dirty, diseased water leads to a cycle of sickness, lack of education, poverty and lost hope. It is needless suffering.
The Solution:
Decide this has to change. Get involved. Help me fund a clean, safe water project.
What to Do:
Donate and help fund a well with me. Once the goal is met we'll all receive a tracking link so we can actually see the specific project we helped fund. Together we'll witness the impact our donations make.
How We Work
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Rwanda, The Water Project builds long lasting projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
